Hide assignment hour fields in mySparkrock
Sparkrock Impact provides the capability to control whether the Hours/Week and Hours/Day fields are displayed to employees in mySparkrock.
This functionality includes a global control that is available on the External Setup FastTab of the Advanced HR Setup page and an HR position-level control that is available on the HR Position Card page.
When the global setting is turned on, assignment hours are hidden for all employees in mySparkrock. When the global setting is turned off, the position-level setting determines whether assignment hours are displayed.
Global control
Sparkrock Impact includes a Hide Assignment Hours field on the External Setup FastTab of the Advanced HR Setup page.
When you turn on the Hide Assignment Hours field:
- The Hours/Week and Hours/Day fields are hidden on the employee's Profile page in mySparkrock.
- The Default Hours/Week and Default Hours/Day fields are hidden on the Position Information page in mySparkrock.
When you turn off the Hide Assignment Hours field:
- The Hours/Week and Hours/Day fields appear on the employee's Profile page in mySparkrock.
- The Default Hours/Week and Default Hours/Day fields appear on the Position Information page in mySparkrock.
Position-level control
Sparkrock Impact includes a Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock field that appears on the HR Positions and HR Position Card pages to provide more granular control over assignment hour visibility.
When you turn on the Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock field:
- The Hours/Week and Hours/Day fields are hidden for assignments that are associated with that position on the employee's Profile page in mySparkrock.
- The Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock checkbox is selected on all related HR Employee Assignment page records.
When you turn off the Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock field:
- The Hours/Week and Hours/Day fields appear for assignments that are associated with that position on the employee's Profile page in mySparkrock.
- The Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock checkbox is cleared on all related HR Employee Assignments page records.
The Hide Assignment Hours on mySparkrock fields are visible on the HR Positions and HR Employee Assignments pages for reference but cannot be edited directly.
