Finance approval notification and reminder email content
When a finance request or purchase document requires approval, Sparkrock Impact sends an approval notification email to the approver. If the request remains pending, Sparkrock Impact also sends approval reminder emails, using the same content as the initial notification email.
The email body includes the following details about the document:
- Amount Including Tax
- Posting Description
- Vendor(s)
- Requester
- Approval Rule(s)
- Details Created By
The email also includes a link to open the document.
Approval Type
The email body includes an approval type row that indicates whether the approval is an amount-threshold approval or an over-budget approval. This row displays Approval Type Amount for amount-threshold approvals and Approval Type Budget for over-budget approvals.
When a document requires both an amount-threshold approval and an over-budget approval, each approver receives a separate email, and each email's approval type row corresponds to that approver's own approval.
