Job requisitions
Sparkrock Impact includes functionality to help you manage job requisitions.
To create a job requisition
Select Search (Alt+Q)
, enter hr requests, and then select the related link.The HR Requests page opens.
On the action bar, choose New.
The HR Request page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
- In HR Reason Code, specify the code that represents a job requisition.
The No. field is automatically populated. - In Effective Date, specify the effective date for the job requisition.
- In Employee No., specify the employee number that corresponds to this HR Request.
- Specify values for other fields as required.
- In HR Reason Code, specify the code that represents a job requisition.
On the action bar, choose Home > Details.
The HR Request-Job Requisition page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
- In HR Position Code, specify the job position that is being requisitioned.
- Specify values for other fields as required.
Choose Close.
You are returned to the HR Request page.
Process the HR request.
Job requisitions and the Trakstar ATS integration
If your organization uses the Trakstar ATS integration, you can publish job requisition HR requests directly to Trakstar as job openings. Only HR requests with an HR Reason Code of 10-JOB REQUISITION are eligible to publish. To learn more, go to Trakstar ATS integration.
Description
When you publish a job requisition to Trakstar Hire, Trakstar uses the Description field on HR requests to populate the job requisition posting. The field accepts up to 2,048 characters.
Trakstar Job Type
The Trakstar Job Type that appears on the Trakstar FastTab of a job requisition HR request is required before publishing to Trakstar Hire. If you try to publish without a value, Sparkrock Impact displays a validation message. When you publish, the job type is sent to Trakstar Hire with the rest of the posting.
The field provides the following options:
- Full Time: The default option for new job requisitions.
- Part Time
- Contract
