Finance and Procurement
API update for approved document filtering
In preparation for a future mySparkrock release, this release updates the Sparkrock Impact API that shares financial approval data with mySparkrock, so that documents with a Status of Approved can be retrieved in addition to documents with a Status of Pending Approval.
Approval type label on approval notification and reminder emails
This release adds an Approval Type row to finance approval notification and reminder emails, so that approvers can see at a glance whether they are reviewing an amount-threshold approval or an over-budget approval.
The new row appears in the email body alongside the existing details, and shows Approval Type Amount or Approval Type Budget, depending on the approval entry.
When a document requires both an amount-threshold approval and an over-budget approval, each approver receives their own email with the value that matches their specific approval entry.

In preparation for update 29.0 for Business Central 2026 release wave 2, an internal system change is required. This change does not involve any user interface changes.
Financial Analysis
Improved financial analysis drill-down account set filtering
Drill-down amounts for budget, net change, commitment, and encumbrance entries are now correctly scoped to the active Account Set Filter.
Previously, these drill-down amounts could include amounts from G/L accounts belonging to a different account set. Entries that are not assigned to any account set are still included, in addition to entries that belong to the selected account set.
In preparation for a future mySparkrock release, this release also adds account set scoping to the Sparkrock Impact API that shares financial analysis drill-down data with mySparkrock.

| When an employee has an hourly absence and a daily absence sequenced together on their attendance plan, Sparkrock Impact may calculate incorrect absence hours. This problem occurs when the sequenced cause of absence and pay reduction cause of absence have different calculation types. To resolve this problem, Sparkrock Impact now requires the sequenced cause of absence and pay reduction cause of absence to have the same Calculation Type. |
