, enter monthly accrual worksheet, and then select the related link. The Monthly Accrual Worksheet page opens.
On the action bar, select Load Accruals.
The Load Monthly Accruals page opens.
In Accrual Month, specify any date within the month that you want to load accruals for.
You cannot load a month before its accrual date has passed.
In Cause of Absence Code, specify the monthly cause of absence that you want to load accruals for.
In Attendance Plan Code, specify the attendance plan that you want to limit the load to, or leave the field blank to load every attendance plan that includes the cause of absence.
In Load Description, specify an optional description.
For example, specify Monthly Accruals or something similar as the description. The description appears on the Absence Registration page and is visible to employees in mySparkrock.
To exclude employees who are fully on leave on the accrual date, turn on Exclude Employees Fully On Leave.
If required, to filter the results, specify filters for the fields on the Employee FastTab.
Select OK.
The Monthly Accrual Worksheet page loads.
The worksheet displays Calculated Accrual and Actual Accrual columns. Calculated Accrual displays the full monthly amount from the cause of absence's setup, and Actual Accrual displays what Sparkrock Impact actually posts. When an employee is close to the limit that applies, whether that's the cause of absence's Maximum Balance, a plan or employee Maximum Balance Override, or the plan's Maximum Plan Balance, Sparkrock Impact reduces Actual Accrual to whatever balance remains. Actual Accrual is read-only.
Validate the worksheet.
To change an amount, correct the cause of absence, attendance plan, or employee setup, delete the line, and then load the month again.
To remove lines with zero amounts, on the action bar, select Delete Zero Lines.
To post the accruals, perform one of the following steps:
- To post all lines, select Post Accruals.
- To post only selected lines, select the applicable lines, and then select Post Selected Accruals.
A dialog box appears and displays the following text:
This process will transfer the accruals to Absence Registration. Do you want to continue?
To continue, select Yes.
Sparkrock Impact re-applies the limit that applies to each row as it posts, and then displays a message stating how many rows posted, how many of those were reduced to stay within a limit, and how many rows at zero were skipped.
