Problems that are resolved in this update
The following problems are resolved in this update.
Platform
| Description | |
|---|---|
| When you change the User Name of a mySparkrock user, Sparkrock Impact may lock records that other users access. As a result, actions that other users perform may be delayed or blocked until the name change process completes. |
Finance and Procurement
| Description | |
|---|---|
| When you send a financial document for approval, and an approver is included in more than one applicable approval rule, Sparkrock Impact may create the approval entries in the wrong order and mark approval levels as Auto-Approved before the approvers act on the levels. |
|
| When a financial document has lines for multiple departments or accounts, budget checking may split the Requested Amount across the wrong lines, even though the total for the document is correct. As a result, when you drill down into a line, the entries may not match the Requested Amount for the line, and the budget exceeded check and budget rule approvals may use incorrect amounts. |
|
| When you copy an expense claim that has been paid, Sparkrock Impact copies the Remittance Advice No. to the new expense claim. As a result, the new expense claim displays as paid before the claim is submitted, and the remittance advice number for the claim’s own payment is not recorded. To resolve this problem, Sparkrock Impact now corrects existing expense claims that have a remittance advice number that was copied from another expense claim. |
HR Management
| Description | |
|---|---|
| When a cause of absence has a unit of measure with a Calculation Type of Day, Sparkrock Impact records accruals in hours and absences in days. As a result, the absence balance may be incorrect, and the Maximum Balance check may use an incorrect balance. To resolve this problem, Sparkrock Impact now records accruals for these causes of absence in days. |
|
| When you select Publish to Trakstar on an HR request, Sparkrock Impact sends the Department Code to Trakstar Hire as the team for the job opening. As a result, Trakstar Hire may display team values that are difficult to identify, because the code is limited to 10 characters and is not always descriptive. To resolve this problem, Sparkrock Impact now sends the Name of the department code as the team for the job opening. If the Name is blank, Sparkrock Impact continues to send the Department Code. Note: Job openings that were published before this fix keep the existing team. |
|
| When you process an HR request that has a Type of Leave Request of Leave and Return, Sparkrock Impact creates the assignment for the return date with a blank Work Period Code and Work Period Factor. |
Time Entry
| Description | |
|---|---|
| When your permissions limit or prevent access to employee assignments, Sparkrock Impact displays an error and closes the Employee Card page after you open the page. This problem occurs because Sparkrock Impact calculates the No. of Time Entry Units count based on the time entry units that are linked to the employee’s assignments. To resolve this problem, Sparkrock Impact no longer closes the Employee Card page, and No. of Time Entry Units now displays only the count of time entry units that are linked to the employee assignments that you have permission to read. |
