Sustainability Overview (Power BI Report)

APPLIES TO: Business Central 2025 release wave 1 and later.

The Sustainability Overview report provides a high-level understanding of the emissions along with water and waste usage for an organization. This report can help you understand how your organization is tracking toward your sustainability goals, and where to make changes around emissions. Information is arranged by category, scope, and month, along with the water and waste types.

Use the report

The report is intended for the following roles:

• Sustainability Managers
• Executives

Sustainability Managers use this report for quick and easy access to key KPI metrics along with detailed information on emissions in each category. With this information, you can then drill down into another report to get a better understanding of these values.

From an executive perspective, the report provides a clear overview to help you gain a high-level understanding of sustainability performance. You can leverage the data to make informed decisions to align with a long-term strategic objective.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

The Sustainability Overview report includes the following KPIs and measures:

• CO2 Realized (%)
• CH4 Realized (%)
• N2O Realized (%)
• Water Realized (%)
• Waste Realized (%)
• CO2e Emissions
• CO2 Baseline
• CO2 Current Value

The Sustainability Overview report uses data from the following tables in Business Central:

• Sustainability Ledger Entry
